WINTER PRACTICE PERIOD (ONLINE)
Come together this winter with a community from around the country as we keep the pen moving. Each weekly 2-hour session weaves timed writing exercises with meditation and discussion. Open to writers of all levels.
Our reading list includes Three Simple Lines: A Writer’s Pilgrimage into the Heart and Homeland of Haiku by Natalie Goldberg and LaRose by Louise Erdrich. The February 2nd meeting will be a reading with Goldberg from Three Simple Lines.
TESTIMONIALS
It's an honor for me that you're teaching this work. When you study with me, you are very determined. You take everything in. I have a sense that you are a very good teacher. - Natalie Goldberg
Sarah offers an extremely safe space for both the seasoned and the novice writer. Her inspirational prompts encourage us to explore our depth through writing. I am often surprised with what I discover when I pull away the layers. - Mike Cooper
Sarah’s class has sparked a shift for me as a business/marketing writer and has opened up a less controlled world of creativity that I can fully explore. I can’t wait to see where the next class takes me in this rewarding exploration. - Sheila Rittenberg
