Dive deep into five books in this series of workshops dedicated to elevate the way you approach reading.

We will study five works of literature, both fiction and memoir/non-fiction, over the course of ten months. In each workshop, we will examine the author's life, the book's structure, powerful passages and themes. You will also be led in a writing session with prompts generated from the books we read.

Want a fresh approach to how your current book club analyzes books? This series is for you.

These workshops are also helpful for writers - hobbyist and professional. It is through studying other writers that we can learn and grow ourselves as writers.

About the instructor: Sarah Sennott Cyr is an author whose work has been published in Newsweek Magazine, The Boston Globe, Boston Magazine and ARTnews. Two years ago, Cyr began a writing practice inspired by Natalie Goldberg (Writing Down the Bones). She now leads workshops based on this practice for writers, artists, and others. (www.sarahcyr.com)
